Lush Cosmetics

HSI Canada has been fighting against animal cruelty, and their cruelty-free campaign is making waves. This campaign focuses on 500,000+ Animals that suffer and die each year in cosmetics testing. With this campaign, HSI has already 1000 + certified “cruelty-free” companies. This campaign was instrumental in driving the European Union to become the world’s largest cruelty-free cosmetic market and securing subsequent bans in India, Taiwan, New Zealand, Norway, South Korea, Switzerland, Guatemala, Canada, and numerous states in Brazil.

The ask

HSI approached us for photography and videography of the event where Honorable Jean-Yves Duclos, Minister of Health, announced that the Government of Canada has banned the testing of cosmetic products on animals in Canada. It is a major step forward in supporting animal welfare and ensuring health and safety.

Our Solution

To meet the client’s needs, we carefully planned our shortlist for pictures and videos that represent the message of this historic event. Our team mixed in with the crowd, capturing all the important moments and the strong emotions of the audience.

Lush Cosmetics North America hosted this historic event in Toronto so we can learn about the harm done to animals and to encourage everyone to stop it. Lush Cosmetics doesn’t test on animals and supports kind treatment towards them. This event was their way of showing this commitment and helping others understand why it’s important.

We were impressed by the quality and professionalism of the team and received a great feedback from our guests. Thank you for beautiful photos!
